The first step

The first step towards being the leader you want to be and having the career and life you want is clarifying what that means to you.

When we are clear about who we are, what is most important to us, and what we aim to achieve, and we align what we are doing to that, everything becomes more possible, more enjoyable, and more meaningful.

Sounds simple… but my experience has shown me that, for most of us, this is easier said than done. Having it all – balancing a successful career and happy personal life while still finding time to invest in yourself and your well-being is a lot for any person to juggle and the daily struggle to balance it all is all too real.

If you find yourself feeling stretched thin, uncertain about your future, trapped in a career or situation you never expected, or longing to become a more impactful and effective leader, its time to take a step back and seek greater clarity.

Knowing where to start is often
the greatest challenge

My experience has shown me that, for busy leaders, making time and figuring out where to start is often overwhelming and thinking about critical issues gets put on the ‘to do later’ list.

I developed my CORE framework to help leaders break down some big questions into bite size pieces, building on small changes that are manageable in the context of their lives.

What is the CORE framework?

The CORE framework consists of four interconnected parts aimed at providing leaders with a practical way to begin addressing some fundamental questions and achieve greater clarity for themselves, their teams and organisations. The framework supports thinking about desired future and current context and how to create and sustain positive change. The CORE Framework comprises four key building blocks below.

How does it work?

A typical coaching engagement with me is made of a number of elements:

Conversations with the coaching client, their manager, and/or sponsor to thoroughly explore the coaching objectives and establish a strong foundation.

Individual coaching sessions with the coaching participant. Cadence and duration of sessions is agreed with the client to meet their specific needs.

Suggested resources that support reflection and action between sessions to support development in a variety of ways.

Clarity at your CORE
is the starting point.

You will spend some time getting crystal clear about your direction and values, building self-awareness to understand where you are now, how you come across to others, what is working for you, what isn’t and why. This clarity will help you focus on the areas that will have the biggest impact for you.
